Keebomed indicated that they were going to replace some out of date suture from my previous order. The suture box indicated the the use by date was ok while it actually contained out of date suture which was not usable because it had NO tensile strength. I had used it before I encountered a medical emergency for a patient. I had not noticed the out of date suture.

suture is great, very affordable. The only down side is the needles are not very strong and I've had one detach from the suture.
